The Country Club of North Carolina (CCNC): homes & living guide
CCNC is a private, gated golf community in Pinehurst. A group of North Carolina businessmen founded it in 1962–63 to create a club of the finest quality in the center of the state.
The golf
- Two private courses: Dogwood (opened 1963) and Cardinal — 36 holes total.
- Hosted the 1980 U.S. Amateur and the 2010 U.S. Girls' Junior.
- Scheduled to host the 2030 U.S. Senior Amateur and the 2037 U.S. Women's Amateur.
- The club says more than half of its membership lives outside the area.
